– Hey guys I wanna talkto you about stall mattings. A pile of people know that in a dwelling gym, you wanna use stall matsfor your gym flooring, simply because you’re gonna get the most blow for your buck that acces. A stop matting is thick, and it is durable, and it is inexpensive. You can get them normallyfor about 40 bucks, as compared to exercise flooring, which is a lot more expensive. And too, if you usethose bottom puzzle matteds, they’re not going to do the job. They’re gonna come apart, and they just are not built to stand up to weightscoming down on top of them. But, most people don’t know that there are multiplekinds of stall mat surfaces. And so I’ve got three different kinds of stall rugs in my home gym. And I’m gonna tell you about the three different kindsand why I have them. So, the first style I have, has this waffle flooring right here. Okay, this is kind of likethe bottom of a tennis shoe. And because I like to train barefoot, because I like to getfeedback from my foot, and likewise I like to strengthen my feet. I are happy to do things likedeadlift on the waffle flooring. So, if I’m gonna deadlift, thisis typically where I do it. And I dead elevate right here. Likewise, if I’m gonna do lungesor anything like that. If you guys hear me in my videos, I’m generally over here, all right? I don’t done a lot of lunges anymore. But any kind of simple leg stuff, you’re gonna ascertain me right here. That’s also where you seeme do my bent pressing because I need to have a firm foundation. So I’m, again, often right here. The second style I have is smooth surface. And that’s pretty much, exactly because I might be in a situation where I wanna protect the storey. And so you attend mykettlebells are right here. And so I do a lot ofkettlebell floor pressing, boob floor pressing, things like that right here. And so when I threw the bardown, or the kettlebell down, it tends to land right here. And that’s again, it’s just tobasically protect the flooring. The final manner, and Idon’t have as much of this, is down right here is grid surface. But you can see that it’s kind of ridged, and what I like about these is that it stops the bar from going. So, if I have my rail I hadmy bar flatten anywhere else, If I placed it right here, be seen to what extent it rolls? Rollings away from me, right? That comes dreary when I’m deadlifting. If I had it anywhereelse, it’s going to roll. So, I use these to keep it in place. That’s the only reason I have it. I likewise have it inside my ability rack, because again, when I framed my, I pedal my utility benchin place for me to bench, I don’t want the locate to move around, because it does have wheels on it. And I don’t want the strength rackto move around a whole lot, so, again, I have it where the banks are.So, those are the three different kinds of stall mattings I have. None of these cost me over $45, and some of them I goteven cheaper than that,’ justification I went to the feed store, I examined around specificallyfor the type of rugs. So, do your store wisely, and get the matteds thatwork the very best for you. I hope that helped.
