You’re good to go? – Okay, I approximate, yeah. -[ Steven] Alright, there we go Kate. That’s what she does. – I do, I do like that. -[ Steven] I’m not justpunching a pregnant gal. We’ve been doing this for about six years. We focus on taking care ofthat which you’ve been given, whether that applies toyour body and your state or whether it applies to the planet. We try to be a little lettuce. Maybe cloths like thisflooring or technology like ReRev which is cardio equipment that produces energy. We want to be a leader inthat relation in our industry and you know hopefullyour members can take pride in being a part of that excursion. – I like the idea oflike , not just taking care of yourself but thecommunity and countries around the world all at the same time. So when you’re on it you’rerunning, you’re actually creating supremacy like abig generator and the belt is various kinds of weighted. Most gyms sell morememberships than they can actually hold inside the gym. They count on beings notshowing up at the gym. – That’s a real glasshalf empty perspective.- Yeah. We’re going back to LosAngeles and we’re going to meet at Downtown LA for a gym called the, Los Angeles Athletic Club. – Sounds thought. – It is thought, how’d you are familiar with?( Upbeat music) – I’m Cory Hathaway, I’m theassistant general manager of Los Angeles Athletic Club. It’s a 12 narrative, 125,000 sq paw facility. Percentage of the purpose of theclub when this building was constructed was to train Olympic contestants. One right above us isactually the first reserve built above ground westof the Mississippi. -[ Kate] That’s so rareto see gyms that have all this history and backstory. Do people come here alot really to hang out? Like, it feels like there’sso many things you could do. – Some members will joinwith fitness in memory and then will maybe get sidetrackedby some of the other storeys .( Smooth music) -[ Steven] Want to play some squash? – Um, I don’t know how, but okay. – I don’t either. – Alright. – Oop.- Wait. This is my favorite one of the purposes of any gym. -[ Kate] This is a rare gym thing. I’ve never seen abasketball field in a gym. Not in Los Angeles -[ Steven] Yeah because there’sjust not enough space in LA. This is crazy, there’sactually office around, there’s padding now forwhen you go in too hard.This is awesome. -[ Kate] Uh-huh.( upbeat music) Wow! -[ Steven] I know, I’m happy.( Intense music) -[ Kate] Oh, it’s counting my reps for me. We’re both trying to do the same thing, which is take care of people. And I recollected, I miss theseresources in one place. So we built this region. What you’re going to dotoday is go through what our process is. Evaluate, assess, recall, program, administer, and reevaluate. We take orthopedic data, we make behavioral data, nutritional data, andthen you do an exercise physiology test. And we assess that data, symbolizing we look at it then we discuss it. Then we’ll blueprint a programbased off of those exam results and the program will have to do with what you’re weakest at.We have two types of facilities, there are these which arethe residential facilities that we designed, thatpeople in the building get to utilize. Now, they don’t have togo through the entire process, they may justwant to come down and container or use the treadmill. What can compare to LA AC? Like, It’s massive.- Yeah. -[ Steven] But, I suppose I’mgonna go with AC4 Fitness. Because of the value.
